Cpl. Joshua Knese, M88 operator from St. Louis, Mo., assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 26, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), stands on his vehicle, the M-88A2 Hercules heavy recovery vehicle, during an exercise in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility April 27, 2013. The 26th MEU is currently deployed as part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group to the 5th Fleet area of responsibility. The 26th MEU operates continuously across the globe, providing the president and unified combatant commanders with a forward-deployed, sea-based quick reaction force.
