U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Camron Brown, helicopter crew chief, with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 162 (Reinforced), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, sits at the back of a CH-53E Super Stallion heading to Onslow Beach to conduct helocast water insert training, Feb. 14, 2023. Helocasting is an airborne technique that allows Marines to stealthily insert from a helicopter into any body of water, subsequently utilizing Combat Rubber Raiding Craft to conduct amphibious beach reconnaissance and raids. Assisting in this training shows the capability of the MEU to conduct an insert of ground forces by sea. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Michele Clarke)
