U.S. Marines with Maritime Special Purpose Force (MSPF), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) conduct a Helicopter Rope Suspension Techniques (HRST) Masters' course at Stone Bay, on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Sept. 29, 2022. HRST prepares Marines for helicopter-borne insertion and extraction operations as well as certifies Marines as HRST Masters allowing them to oversee HRST operations with their respective units. The HRST Masters’ Course is one of several Expeditionary Operations Training Group (EOTG) taught courses that the Marines and Sailors of the MEU receive as they prepare to deploy next year.
