MEDITERRANEAN SEA (April 19, 2018) Sgt. Carl Exantus, a postal clerk assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 26, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, sorts mail during a replenishment-at-sea aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS New York (LPD 21) April 19, 2018. Exantus is one of two postal clerks who are charged with organizing, supervising and delivering mail aboard the ship while deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations. U.S. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
