U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (April 5, 2018) U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Brandon M. Rausch, a rifleman assigned to Fox Company, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), posts to provide security from inside an assault amphibious vehicle attached to the same unit, during a company movement in the U.S. 5th Fleet Area of Operations. The 26th MEU trains to sustain expeditionary readiness across a range of critical capabilities both afloat and ashore in order to be prepared to respond to crisis in the U.S. 5th Fleet Area of Operations.
