A U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 461, parks on the flight deck aboard amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) in the Atlantic Ocean, Sept. 8, 2017. More than 300 Marines from the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit and HMH-461 embarked aboard the amphibious assault ship as part of a coordinated response poised to provide Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, state and local response efforts in the wake of Hurricane Irma.
