U.S. Marine Cpl. Ryan Butschley, an Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAV) crew chief, from Pittsburg, Penn. assigned to AAV Platoon, Battalion Landing Team 3/2, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), offload an AAV after returning from an eight-month deployment with the 26th MEU aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Nov. 3, 2013. The 26th MEU is a Marine Air-Ground Task Force returning home from being forward-deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility aboard the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group. They served as a sea-based, expeditionary crisis response force capable of conducting amphibious operations across the full range of military operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
