U.S. Marines and Sailors assigned to India Company, Battalion Landing Team 3/2, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), provide security from a berm while conducting a movement to contact exercise in tangent with French Legionnaires assigned to the 6th Light Armored Brigade, 2nd Foreign Legion Regiment, 5th Company, aboard Le Camp Des Garrigues, Nimes, France, March 27, 2013. The 26th MEU is deployed to the 6th Fleet area of operation. The MEU operates continuously across the globe, providing the president and unified combatant commanders with a forward-deployed, sea-based, quick-reaction force.
