Capt. Raymond Kaster, a Bridgewater, N.J, native and commanding officer, Company K, Battalion Landing Team 3/2, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is the first Marine to pledge to intervene in support of Sexual Assault Awareness Month aboard the USS Carter Hall (LSD 50) while at sea March 28, 2013. Co. K and Combat Logistics Battalion 26, 26th MEU, had more than 100 Marines in attendance. The 26th MEU is currently deployed to the 6th Fleet area of operation. The MEU operates continuously across the globe, providing the president and unified combatant commanders with a forward-deployed, sea-based quick reaction force. The MEU is a Marine Air-Ground Task Force capable of conducting amphibious operations, crisis response, and limited contingency operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Staff Sgt.
