USS KEARSARGE, At Sea (Feb. 7, 2011) – Participants relax during the Run To Nowhere awards ceremony held Feb. 7, 2011. Winners of each age group and a random lottery were awarded a variety of prizes. Marines and sailors with 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit and USS Kearsarge participated in the 5K race, which spanned from the bow to the stern of the ship as well as the cavernous hangar bay. Elements of 26th MEU are currently operating aboard ships of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. (Official USMC photo by Lance Cpl. Michael S.
