A Marine with 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit stands on the flight deck of USS Kearsarge as the ship departs the port in Norfolk, Va., July 7, 2010, for Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX). 26th MEU and Amphibious Squadron 4 will conduct the three-week exercise in preparation for their deployment later this fall. During COMPTUEX, the 26th MEU will prepare for their certification exercise in August by integrating, training and finalizing communications and mission procedures.
