Former medic and Army Cpl. Julio Gerena examines an Amphibious Assault Vehicle during a tour for wounded warriors aboard USS New York Nov. 05, 2009. The service members also visited with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 26 Marines and USS New York sailors. The ship will be commissioned into service during a ceremony Nov. 07.
