USS New York passes under the Verrazano Narrows Bridge in New York City with its crew and Marines from Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 26 manning the rails Nov. 2, 2009. The ship, which has 7 1/2 tons of steel salvaged from the World Trade Center forged in its hull, is scheduled to be commissioned on Nov. 7.
