Marines from the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit prepare an M-1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank to be loaded on a Landing Craft Air Cushioned amphibious vehicle. The USS San Antonio (LPD-17), the first of the new San Antonio-class Amphibious Transportation Docks (LPD), allows the 26th MEU to carry five more tanks than previously possible with older LPDs.
