Chief Petty Officer Troy W. Hoover, craft master, Assault Craft Unit 4, piloted one of the Landing Craft Air Cushioned amphibious vehicles that brought assets of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit ashore Oct. 12. The Harrisburg, Pa., native attributes his ability to drive the craft to his four crewmembers, who he also refers to as the backbone of the LCAC.
