Naval Corpsman celebrate their 107th birthday during thier current deployment while aboard USS Kearsarge. Oldest corpsman, Master Chief Tommie Thompson, 46, USS Kearsarge, alongside youngest, Hospitalman Sean M. Kane, 20, Weapon's company, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Bn, 8th Marines, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), cut the ceremonial cake upon completion of the event. The corpsman are attached to Naval and Marine units with the Kearsarge Strike Group while supporting as the theater reserve in the Arabian Gulf for Central Command.
