Captain James F. Cherry Jr., commanding officer of Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Bn., 8th Marines, briefs a party of senior coalition military officers from Combined Joint Taks Force Horn of Africa (CJTF HOA) April 26 before a live-fire exercise at the Gadora Range in Djibouti. Shortly after arriving in the Central Command area of responsibility, the 26th MEU (SOC), emabarked aboard the Kearsarge Strike Group, proceeded to Djibouti to exercise its air and ground strike capabilities at the extensive ranges there.
