Corporal Heather M. Heath, a field radio operator with Command Element, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, prepares a Lofted Communications system during the Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON)/ MEU Integration (PMINT) exercise aboard USS Kearsarge off the coast of North Carolina, May 1, 2010. The Lofted Communications system receives communication from the ship and is capable of transmitting that data to other ships or to troops on land. PMINT integrates 26th MEU Marines with their Navy counterparts to train in the planning and execution of missions they could conduct when they deploy together this fall.
