The family of deceased vehicle accident victim Homer Graham visited Camp Lejeune to meet and thank Cpl. Lance Morse and Cpl. Carl McCauley for their heroic actions attempting to save Graham's life at a vehicle accident in October 2007. Morse and McCauley both received the Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medal for risking their own lives to rescue Graham from his burning vehicle that night. "Their heroism is not affected by my son's death," said Homer Graham, father of the deceased. "By honoring them, we honor my son," he said. (Official USMC photo by Lance Cpl.
