The commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. Michael W. Hagee departs the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) after visiting Marines and Sailors of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) and the Kearsarge June 17 in the northern Arabian Sea. Before arriving aboard USS Kearsarge, Gen. Hagee also visited 26th MEU and Navy troops aboard the amphibious transport dock USS Ponce (LPD 15) and the dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48).
